The U.S. Green Building Council is responsible for administering the LEED rating system and providing or approving Alternative Compliance Paths that address regional conditions. To achieve the Energy and Atmosphere (EA) Credit: Demand Response , a project must create a comprehensive plan for responding to a demand response event (D). This includes a strategy for reducing electrical load when a demand response event is triggered by the utility provider.
