The Transaction Line Editor providesfilteringcapabilities for quote and order line items. Salesforce ' s current Transaction Management documentation explicitly describes filtering as a mechanism for narrowing complex transactions and locating relevant line items. Users can display a filter row and apply field-level criteria to isolate products within a quote or order. Current Sales Transaction Line Editor functionality extends this further with predefined and advanced filters.

Auto-save is not the correct answer. Salesforce instructs users to save transaction edits, and specifically warns that unsaved changes can be lost if a page reloads or the session expires. Instant Pricing can recalculate price-impacting edits automatically while enabled, but automatic recalculation is distinct from automatically persisting the transaction.

“Drag to Sort” is also not the standard capability described by Salesforce. Line items can be searched, filtered, sorted, grouped, or reorganized using supported editor actions, but arbitrary drag-to-sort behavior is not the relevant transaction capability tested here.

Salesforce introduced the Transaction Line Editor specifically to improve management of complex quotes through operations such as filter, search, and sort.
