VMware Cloud Services is a platform that provides a unified and consistent way to access and manage VMware Cloud products and services across multiple clouds and regions. VMware Cloud Services allows you to create and manage Organizations, which are logical units that group users, services, and resources under a common identity and billing account12.

An Organization Owner is a user role that has full administrative privileges and control over the Organization and its services. An Organization Owner can invite other users to join the Organization and assign them different roles and permissions. An Organization Owner can also remove users from the Organization or revoke their invitations34.

An invitation is a request that an Organization Owner sends to a user to join the Organization and access the services. An invitation contains a link that the user can click to accept the invitation and onboard the Organization. An invitation also specifies the roles and permissions that the user will have in the Organization and its services5 .

An invitation is valid for 7 days before it is revoked. This means that the user has 7 days to accept the invitation and onboard the Organization, otherwise the invitation will expire and the user will not be able to join the Organization. The Organization Owner can resend the invitation if the user did not accept it within 7 days, or cancel the invitation if the user is no longer needed in the Organization .
