InJuniper Networks Mist AI Wireless, Radio Resource Management (RRM) is designed to optimize RF performance automatically while minimizing client impact. With the introduction ofWi-Fi 6E and the 6 GHz band, Juniper Mist follows industry standards and client behavior to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Juniper Mist RRM automatically selects and operates on these PSCs by default to:

Mist continuously evaluates RF conditions using telemetry and AI-driven analysis, but it intentionally limits default operation to PSCs to balance performance, efficiency, and client interoperability. Administrators can override defaults and customize channel plans if required, but PSCs remain the recommended baseline for most deployments.
