According to the BABOK® Guide, the plan business analysis approach is the task of defining the most appropriate method and level of detail for performing business analysis activities, based on the characteristics of the project, the solution, and the stakeholders. This task is important because it helps the business analyst (BA) to determine the scope, complexity, and risk of the business analysis work, as well as the deliverables, tasks, techniques, and stakeholders involved.
