According to the BABOK® Guide, a feasibility study is a technique that involves evaluating the viability and suitability of each proposed solution option in terms of the business need, the expected benefits, the risks, and the costs. A feasibility study helps the business analyst (BA) to determine whether and how each option can provide an expected business benefit to meet the stated business need.
