HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition (formerly based on dHCI) is specifically designed to address the challenges of traditional infrastructure procurement and management. First, it addresses lead time concerns by utilizing standardized, pre-integrated " Swift " or pre-configured blocks that are often available for much faster delivery than custom-built solutions. Second, it addresses IT resource constraints because it is a fully managed or simplified cloud service where HPE orchestrates the deployment and ongoing lifecycle management, including automated firmware and software updates via the Data Services Cloud Console (DSCC). This significantly reduces the burden on the customer ' s internal staff. Third, it addresses the initial cost outlay by shifting the financial model from a large Capital Expenditure (CapEx) to a consumption-based Operating Expenditure (OpEx) model. The customer pays a monthly subscription fee, preserving their capital for other business initiatives.
