A Link Aggregation Group (LAG) is a combined collection of physical

network ports on a switch or host.

Ethernet LAG implementations may follow vendor-dependent or an open

standard such as Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP).(Page141 POWERSTORE 3.0 POWERSTORE T IMPLEMENTATION)

In practice, when someone refers to "Dynamic LAG," they are likely speaking about a setup using LACP or something very similar. The main difference would be in how the terms are used within the context of different vendors' documentation or networking practices. However, for all practical purposes, in most environments, LACP and Dynamic LAG would be used to achieve the same goal of dynamic link aggregation with automatic configuration and fault tolerance.
