An auto-suppression list, by design, is populated and continually refreshed through a scheduled SQL Query Activity against existing internal Marketing Cloud data — this is the standard, documented mechanism for keeping an auto-suppression list current without manual intervention, and it applies automatically to future sends using the associated sender profile once configured. While this requires the consultant to write the initial SQL logic on the team ' s behalf, the ongoing operation from that point forward is fully automated and requires no further coding from the marketing team themselves, satisfying the ' automated solution ' framing even though the team itself lacks coding experience — the consultant builds it once, and the team simply benefits from its automatic operation thereafter. The Import Wizard (C) and a generic file-based Import Activity from SFTP (D) both describe importing external data files, which is not how auto-suppression list membership is maintained — auto-suppression logic is built from a query against existing account data, not from repeated external file imports. Einstein Segment Recommendations (B) is a machine-learning-driven audience-suggestion feature for building marketing segments, not a mechanism for populating or maintaining a suppression list.
