When an organization changes its policy to prevent users from adding personal applications, the applications that were added by the user before the policy change are blocked. The icons for these applications will still be displayed on the Apps screen and on user devices, but if a user tries to open one of the applications, an error message will be displayed. This means that while the applications remain visible, they are no longer functional.
