According to the Citrix documentation1, the Least Response Time method uses the response time of the monitor probes to determine the best service. However, this method requires that a monitor is bound to each service and that the monitor response times are recorded. Therefore, the virtual server uses the Round Robin method until each bound service has been probed by the monitor at least once. This mode is called startup round robin mode2.
